The purpose of Parent Counseling and Training (PCT), as a related service, is to offer parents information on child development, to enhance knowledge and understanding of their child’s special needs, and to assist in acquiring skills to support the implementation of their child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). Adult Education Virtual Academy to Help Their Child Succeed in School by Choosing from one of four classes:
For families of African American and Black Learners
For families of Exceptional Learners
For families of Youngest Learners
For families of Multilingual Learners
Please be Advised: Classes begin January 16th, March 5th and May 7th, and meet Tuesday and Thursday nights for 7 weeks.

- DOR BFS Parent Training: Please see attached flyers to be shared with parents of students who have visual impairments. This can be shared with parents of students who are in TPP as well as those who are not. This is a DOR presentation and LAUSD is not sponsoring this presentation, however, we are always happy to share resources.
