The purpose of Parent Counseling and Training (PCT), as a related service, is to offer parents information on child development, to enhance knowledge and understanding of their child’s special needs, and to assist in acquiring skills to support the implementation of their child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). Adult Education Virtual Academy to Help Their Child Succeed in School by Choosing from one of four classes:

For families of African American and Black Learners

For families of Exceptional Learners

For families of Youngest Learners

For families of Multilingual Learners

 

 

Please be Advised: Classes begin January 16th, March 5th and May 7th, and meet Tuesday and Thursday nights for 7 weeks.

                  The Family Academy Title I Conference, organized by the Office of Student, Family and Community Engagement, is taking place this Saturday, April 6 from 8:30-12:30pm. Please join us for  this engaging learning opportunity for our families. Participants who complete two hours of learning will receive instructional materials and Family Academy T-Shirt.
