Mission Statement
The mission of Peary's STEAM Magnet is to collaborate with all stakeholders in creating a safe, engaging, and challenging learning environment for all students. Peary's STEAM Magnet aims to foster students' social and academic growth, as students continue on the path of lifelong learning that will hone their innate skills, talents, and abilities.
Vision Statement
Peary's STEAM Magnet aims to prepare students for multiple pathways to careers prior to their entrance into high school. Peary’s STEAM Magnet will open avenues to students’ college access and career paths, as STEAM-based lessons, STEAM-based activities, and community partnerships are incorporated into the STEAM Magnet program.
Magnet Application
Note: Students who are currently enrolled in Peary's Gifted or STEAM Magnet programs will remain in that program unless they apply and are accepted to a Magnet program at another school.
All 8th grade students who wish to enroll in a high school Magnet program must complete a Magnet program application.
